These homemade meatballs are tender, flavorful, and easy to prepare with simple pantry ingredients. They work beautifully as a main course, served with sauce and pasta, or as a filling for sandwiches and wraps. The mix of ground meat, breadcrumbs, herbs, and Parmesan creates a balanced texture and rich savory flavor.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Let stand for 2 minutes until moistened.
- Add the ground beef, ground pork, egg, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into 16 even meatballs.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

- Pour in the marinara sauce, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve hot with pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
