Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon slices, for serving
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Lightly coat the chicken with flour, shaking off any excess.
- Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
- Pour in the chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, and honey. Stir and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, until the sauce reduces slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes more to warm through.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon slices.
