Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and, if needed, gently pound them to an even thickness.
- In a small bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried oregano.
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with the spice mixture.
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- During the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and lemon juice to the pan, spooning the juices over the chicken.
- Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm.
