Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon

Instructions
- Place the sugar cube in an Old Fashioned glass and add the bitters and water.
- Muddle until the sugar begins to dissolve. If using granulated sugar, stir until combined.
- Add a large ice cube or a few regular ice cubes.
- Pour in the bourbon and stir gently for about 20 seconds.
- Express the orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then place it in the glass.
- Add a cherry if desired and serve immediately.
