This classic guacamole is fresh, creamy, and full of bright flavor. Made with ripe avocados, lime juice, cilantro, onion, tomato, and a touch of salt, it comes together in minutes and works as a dip for chips, a topping for tacos, or a side for grilled dishes.

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork until mostly smooth, leaving some small chunks for texture.

  4. Stir gently until just combined. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt or lime juice if needed.
